Ceramic coating mainly consists of 3 mains components.

Chemically engineered silica dioxide
The primary component that formulates a ceramic solution is the polymer compounds which are oily in nature and actually work to fill in to scratches and swirl marks. The carbon based carrier actually makes the polymer and silica dioxide usable in the field of car detailing industry so that they are easy to apply. Silica dioxide acts as resins that formulate the hard glass type protection layer on top of car clear coat. It should be noted that all three components should be perfectly balanced in order to be used professionally.
Ceramic Paint Protection Vs PPF (Paint Protection Film)
Many industry experts believe that ceramic paint protection is far superior to PPF method of protecting your car paint. However, its is mainly dependent on ones individual assessment and requirements. Some of the pros and cons of PPF film are listed below
